damn! How'd you fit it all in!? I suck at packing. oh well.

Anyways, you can go dive with me in Zanzibar! I'm bringing my dive gear, too. First thing that went into my duffel. I don't care if nothing else fits!

Braxton this is Marty, from Weston second floor 2000-2001 UIUC. I saw your updates on Facebook about crossing the hemispheres.

You might not get to read my comment for a while, and even then you'll probably be using one of those little green $100 laptops that you have to crank-up in order to use. Even though they're designed for pre-school kids, I'm sure that you will get over the learning curve pretty quickly and get this message. I mean, you made your way to Africa right?

In case you're able to put some more music on your mp3 player, you should check out Ali Farka Toure. He's widely considered to be the greatest African guitarist that ever lived, and he was well loved as the governor of Mali before his death a few years ago.

Hopefully you get a chance to update your blog! I wish you a safe journey in Africa.

Glad to see you made it ok and are liking it! We are making a packing list for The Gambia right now. We're not sure what kind of solar charger to buy, how is your Solio one working out?

Good luck with your homestay!
